This free standing house with swimming pool, large entertainment areas and spectacular views over Margate beach is ideally situated above Margate town in a quieter road, but just a short stroll down a flight of stairs to a wide selection of beachfront restaurants and take-aways, pubs and cocktail bars, nightclubs and jazz bars. A favourite with holidaymakers, the kilometre long lifeguard and shark protected beach with paddling and olympic swimming pools, is host to seasonal beach events, live music, and a hive of activity and entertainment.

Ideal for groups of family or friends, the comfortable home sleeps eight guests in three tastefully furnished bedrooms: two rooms have a double and a single bed, and the third has two single beds. There are also two double sleeper couches in lounge area for kids or extra guests. The bedrooms are serviced by a full bathroom with bath and shower, and a separate toilet. All the bedrooms open through sliding doors onto a large central large patio and entertainment area with comfortable el-fresco dining suite and built-in braai around a sparkling swimming pool. Off the patio there is a viewing and cocktail deck with seating and endless views over Margate, the beach, breakers and ocean beyond.

The patio opens through wide stackable doors to a spacious lounge with ample, comfortable seating and television with DSTV and DVD. This leads open plan to a family dining area and onto a large farm style kitchen with all the general day to day cooking amenities, double door fridge, washing machine and tumble drier.

The house is secure with palisade electric gate, alarm system with beams, and trellis doors throughout. There are two electric garages (not suitable for taller SUV's) and further secure outdoor parking for three vehicles. The DSTV receives the Family Bouquet and linen is provided for the beds only (please bring your own beach and bath towels and bedding for sleeper couches if needed). Daily servicing is available on request (subject to availability and additional charge) but the unit is cleaned prior to your arrival and equipped with a complimentary starter kit of toilet paper, bathroom and dishwashing soaps.

Situated 130km south of Durban, the Hibiscus Coast offers an abundance of attractions and activities. With nine world class courses the area is popular with golfers; scuba divers flock to our world famous reefs and wrecks; and families charter ocean safaris, deep sea fishing or shark cage diving trips. The magnificent Oribi Gorge, a 400m deep and 5km wide canyon, offers spectacular view sites and game drives, as well as a host of adrenalin activities including the world's highest bungi swing and world's first 'straight-down' 1km zipline, abseiling down a waterfall, white water rafting, suspension bridges, downhill scooter tours, horse riding and 4X4. The Wild Coast Sun Casino is home to a water theme park with some of the world's fastest rides and their river club offers water skiing, jet skis, speedboats, tube rides and booze cruises. We have and butterfly, snake and crocodile farms with the world's oldest croc; the world's smallest desert; the only approved motor racing and drifting circuit in the province; and our local airport offers daily flights to Johannesburg and scenic helicopter flips over the area and adjacent wild coast. But most people visit simply for our perpetual warm weather and shark protected, world-class Blue Flag status beaches and lagoons with canoes, pedal boats, umbrellas and beach chairs for hire; and ice cream, cocktails and curios for sale. Host to the famous Sardine Run, the annual Bike Week spectacle and revolving beach events, there is never a dull moment on the Hibiscus Coast. Whether you are looking for a relaxing beach holiday, an adrenalin filled escapade, or a wining, dining, clubbing and pubbing shindig, the Hibiscus Coast offers it all, and more.

No regrets! Very spacious house with lovely outdoor set-up. Fabulous view on peaceful Hibiscus road, quiet & serene. Very private yet very accessible to all amenities. Walking distance to town & beach. Very modern kitchen with all new appliances. Water pressure in bathrooms bit low & pool is not fenced if you have small kids. Pick up & drop off of house keys could be closer in Margate instead of over 5 km away in Uvongo other than that, overall a lovely stay & value for money. Highly recommended
