African Aquila Lodge takes its name from the majestic African Eagle.
It offers 4 Family units & 1 Couple unit, which are all fully equipped and beautifully appointed in a self-catering format, each with its own private entrance.
For your convenience, each unit has its own bathroom & fully fitted kitchenette, with a dining area. Laundry can be done on request.
Cleaning of units and linen change is done on the day of arrival & then every 5 days during your stay.
Guests are invited to relax and enjoy a lazy afternoon on their own private patio which is fitted with braai/BBQ facilities and overlooks the pool and lush gardens.

We had a very pleasant stay at the African Aquila, everything we needed for a overnight was there, including a lovely swimming pool to be able to cool off.
Theresa and Pieter are friendly and accommodating hosts who run a very clean, tidy and cost effective operation. The unit we stayed in was large, clean and equipped with everything 2 people would need to self-cater for their stay. The grounds are very pretty and while it was too cold to swim, I am sure that in full summer, guests will find the pool very inviting. All units have a braai available for residents to enjoy if the weather permit. We had a very comfortable 2 night stay at African Aquila Guest Lodge.
Leaving a fantastic and beautiful country after 3 weeks. Pieter and Theresia was the best host You can imagine. Friendly, helpful and always there (even on Christmas day). Recommend this place everyday!

Everything is available in Walmer. The best part of Walmer is Nottingham Country House.
Walmer was very convenient, it is closer to the airport and Walmer Park mall.
