Thornwood Lodge is situated in a malaria free area in the Southern Waterberg, just 40km outside of Warmbaths on the R516.
We hire the lodge out to groups. We do not take individual bookings as the lodge is hired out to one group at a time. ( For groups of 12 guests and under, a reduced amount would be charged)
We can accommodate private groups and small functions, family reunions, workshops, etc. The Lodge is 2 hours from Johannesburg and can accommodate 16 people, in the 3 chalets , with shower room and toilet en suite, plus a kitchenette, and 2 loft rooms (provision can be made for 4 more if cottage is added to rental)
Self-catering with fully equipped kitchen, lounge and dining area, plus deck in Lapa . Bedrooms serviced daily. Lapa and kitchen serviced 2x daily. Braai wood supplied, bring extra for your bon fires and please bring swimming towels.
Games room and play area below lapa.
Great views from rim flow pool .
Minimum 2 day stay over weekends are excepted.

This is an incredible venue for a budget stay in an absolutely breathtaking spot. The facilities are perfect for the price.
The hosts were very organised and communicative.
David, the man who works there was very polite, helpful and welcoming.
The view of the surrounding area from the deck is second to none. We had an awesome stay and the place provided a lot of space and privacy for a full group.

Quiet bushveld lodge, clean, much accommodation -Group venue sleeping 16 and more. Staff are great, and was happy there was good wifi in the lapa. Jimmy.
