Welcome to Chateau Neuf du Cap, a classical French-style home on the slopes of the beautiful Hout Bay valley at the "back" of Table Mountain, which is ideally situated for all the attractions of Cape Town and the Cape Peninsula.
The house, which is newly built in the Provence style, has one exclusive apartment for discerning guests, with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains all the way down to the waters of Hout Bay and the world-renowned Chapman's Peak Drive.
Chateau Neuf du Cap is only a 20-minute drive to the centre of Cape Town, the "front" of Table Mountain and the V&A Waterfront, either through the mountain forests or along the spectacular ocean road overlooking the sparkling waters of the Atlantic.
We are close to all the amenities and attractions of this beautiful part of the world. The Cape Winelands and Cape of Good Hope, where the Atlantic meets the Indian Ocean, are nearby. Hout Bay harbor features fishing charters, whale watching (in season) and trips to Seal Island just outside the bay under the scenic Sentinel mountain peak. The World of Birds, Africa's largest bird park, is just down the road, and it's a 15-minute drive to the world-famous Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.
At Chateau Neuf du Cap you'll be the only guests. We have only one luxury, self-catering apartment which consists of two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a kitchen/dining room. King size beds in both rooms can be converted to suit your party, with up to four singles or a combination of each.
The apartment has its own private entrance, double garage and secluded courtyard and the rooms open up on to a French Provencal garden with views of the mountains and down to the sea. There's a barbecue for enjoying the relaxing afternoon in the sunshine. The property is fully enclosed and includes security beams and 24-hour security patrols in the neighbourhood.
Every comfort is catered for, including oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine and clothes dryer, iron and ironing board. Bed linen and towels are provided and there's satellite TV and wireless broadband - in fact, everything you could wish for in your holiday home-away-from-home in the sun.
