The Executive House is situated on the outskirts of Newcastle’s CBD, in a tranquil suburb with minimum traffic. It is close to Newcastle MediClinic and 5 minutes’ drive from Blackrock Casino and Newcastle Mall with a variety of restaurants and shops where guests can shop to their heart's content. If busy shopping malls are not an option, there is a Pick n Pay Centre 2 minutes’ drive down the road.

This is only 1 of a few guesthouses that are strictly Halaal, which means, no pork is served, and no alcohol is permitted on the premises.

There are 12 spacious rooms, that consist of 3 Executive Suites, 2 Family Rooms, 2 Twin Rooms and 5 Double Rooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. The 1 family room has a shower over a bath, making it easier for parents with small children when it comes to bath time. All bathrooms are equipped with a bidet.

For guests' convenience, fresh towels are supplied daily, and a unique range of bath products to indulge in. Every room has a facility to make your coffee or tea, a remote-controlled air conditioner for those extra hot summer and even colder winter nights. For entertainment, each room has a TV with a selection of DStv channels that range from side splitting comedies, up-to-date news, and the sports channels, for those die-hard fans. Each room has a mini fridge to keep cold drinks nice and cold during summer months.

Every room has access to full Wi-Fi at no additional costs. The rooms are cleaned daily, and while the friendly housekeepers make sure that guests have enough of everything that they might need, guests can enjoy a Hallaal breakfast in the breakfast room. Breakfast is served at 07:00 for the early bird and end at 9:00.

Guests need not worry about the safety of their vehicles, as there are ample undercover parking and a security guard on the premises. The guard is in constant contact with the control room, and the armed response is but a call away.

Newcastle is the ideal stopover from Kruger Park to Durban or Drakensburg. Halfway between Richards Bay and Johannesburg.

For along time I was under the impression that Newcastle was about coal and steel mines. Newcastle tourists places and the warmth of the people.
Superb. 5 out of 5
