Welcome to our little corner of paradise

"Silhouettes against the skyline, serenity at sunset - your perfect moment at Tweerivier."

Tweerivier Game Lodge is based on private game property in northern South Africa, in the wildlife paradise of the Limpopo province.

Only 4 hrs drive north of Johannesburg and 80 km west of Ellisras / Lephalale, this family owned and privately operated lodge offers the perfect wildlife holiday destination for the outdoor enthusiast. This unique location has inspired the name of the special place, i.e. "Tweerivier" or Two rivers. The area is malaria-free and closely located to the world-renowned Madikwe, Marakele, and Pilanesberg Game Reserves.

The lodge serves as a ideal stop over en-route to Botswana, through the nearby Stockpoort / Parrshalt border post. The farm is easily accessible on tar roads until 40 km north from Thabazimbi, from where the last 80km is a gravel road. A 4x4 vehicle is not compulsory, a normal vehicle could easily travel the 80 km gravel road through game farms and breath taking wildlife scenery.

The highlight of your stay however, will be the extensive wildlife and flora that can be viewed from the comfort of your very own African veranda or by taking a game drive into the wide expanses of this beautiful African farm.

Lephalale (Ellisras) Reviews

Construction activities in the region makes it difficult for general tourism. Shopping Centres are of high quality but very crowded at times. Lots of places just outside of Lephalale offers typical African experience and is perhaps better for tourism.

Okay. 3 out of 5
