Supply store, gas pump, liquor store and restaurants within a three minute drive. Emerald Vale Brewery, Tea in the Trees events venue, Inkwenkwezi Game Reserve, Areena activity resort and Cintsa Horse Sanctuary are all a 10 minute drive away.

Whale watching is during August through November. The Sardine run is usually during May/June. hours' drive away: Hole in the Wall, Coffee Bay and Qunu, the birthplace of Nelson Mandela.
