Dlinza Forest Accommodation is situated in the historical town of Eshowe in Zululand, KwaZulu-Natal. Eshowe is one hour and 30 minutes drive from the city of Durban. A warm Zululand welcome awaits you, and Alan and Bev will be your hosts and your comfort is our priority.
There are four unique, tastefully furnished self-catering, fully equipped log cabins, set in a tranquil garden bordering the Dlinza Forest, where abundant bird life is ideal for bird watching. Each cabin is open-planned and has no separate bedrooms, consists of a kitchen, seating area, and bedroom, with a bathroom leading off the main area, which has a sleeper couch for two kids (sleeps a maximum of two adults and two children in each cabin). All cabins have a covered patio and braai/barbecue facilities, DStv package and there is secure parking.
The edge of our garden is the beginning of the 250 hectares of indigenous Dlinza Forest, one of the many beautiful forests in Zululand. The forest is easily accessible and is currently visited by birdwatchers from all over the world hoping to catch a glimpse of rare bird species, such as the Spotted Ground Thrush (Zoothera guttata) or the Eastern Bronze-Naped Pigeon (Columba delegorguei). The forest echoes with the calls of Trumpeter Hornbills, Purple-crested Turacos (Purple-crested Lourie) and Narina Trogons (as does our garden).
All in all, Dlinza Forest Accommodation is perfect for those guests who would like the ultimate forest getaway, tranquility and relaxation away from the hustle and bustle of life, surrounded by nature.
