Karibuni Holiday House is located in the Marloth Park wildlife sanctuary, situated on the southern boundry of the Kruger National Park. (Approximately 470 kilometers from Johannesburg). Marloth has its own wildlife, the game aren’t restricted by fences and roam freely between the units that are built on 1500 hectares. Incorporated in Marloth Park, is Lionspruit, there are three of the big five: buffalo’s, lion and leopards. With the dangerous game restricted, you can take a walk along the river or a mountain bike ride on the dirt roads. As the Crocodile River forms the boundary between Marloth Park and the Kruger National Park, you can drive along the Crocodile River border and spot the animals. A viewing point on the banks of the Crocodile River overlooks the Kruger Park and offers a fabulous view of the river and the riverine fauna and flora.

Location:
Situated between Malelane and Komatipoort two entrance gates can be used to the Kruger National Park. Crocodile bridge gate 20 km and Malelane gate 35km. Komatipoort, Hectorspruit and Malelane are within a 40 km radius from Marloth Park. Marloth Park is 450 km from OR Tambo Airport.

Facilities:
Marloth Park houses all the basic commodities such as a filling station, hardware store, curio shop, liquor store, a number of restaurants and a large swimming pool at the Municipality.

Karibuni House has the following:
Five en-suite rooms each with a queen-sized bed and ceiling fan
Children can be accommodated in the communal room
Baby cots, a baby pram and two bicycles are available for guests
A kitchen, dining area, lounge and communal room with a large screen TV
Outside facilities include a braai (barbeque) area and splash pool under shady trees

Nice and quiet, with game walking around the area.
We saw Impala, Kudu, Warthog, Zebra, Giraffe and Wildebeest.
A short drive of 3 minutes takes you to the Olifants river where you can watch all animals going down to the river to drink.
Its also only 17km from Olifants Gate at Komatipoort to go into the Kruger Park.
