Look out for Brown Info Signs on the N6 as you near Aliwal North from the Bloemfontein side on your right - and coming from the East London side, drive through Aliwal North as if on your way to the Free State and find us 5km from Aliwal North on your left hand side.
Property Facilities:Spacious grounds for a relaxing walk. We have a conference centre seating 100 people. Caravans and tents are welcome! We have separate men's and women's ablution facilities. Pets are more than welcome. For children we have a play area and a Jumping Castle during school holidays. Safe parking is available.

We were warmly welcomed by a very friendly owner after a tedious journey and shown to our very comfortable room on the outer area of Aliwal North.
The room is clean and well appointed as is the bathroom and little kitchenette with bar fridge. The bed is comfortable and the night stands provide a drawer and cupboard for odds and ends. Linens are all spotless and well presented. Lovely extra touches of filter coffee and biscuits and sweets are delightful. The bar fridge is generous with plenty of space. Another nice addition is a complimentary hairdryer.
Wi Fi and DSTV are working and seating at a table just outside in the pretty garden is an option for relaxation.
Our dining experience was a pleasure and I can only say that our hostess has made our stay extremely enjoyable and we will be back. We felt very safe and relieved to have undercover parking for our bakkie and the knowledge that the property is gated.

A real oasis and life saver in an otherwise disappointing Aliwal North

This is a beautifull friendly place! Every year we try to stop over at The Nest on our way to East-London. Awesome service, awesome food and awesome people! Its clean and has all that you need ready for you - beautiful rooms! A must to anyone passing by!
This was an awesome stay over, as we were travelling from Johannesburg to the Transkei coast and was therefore a halfway stopover. The location is out of town, which gives it a country atmosphere. We had warm welcome and the hosts are friendly. Definitely a home from home. Clean and comfortable rooms, with attention to detail, just those little things, that give you that wow experience. Good wholesome meals the way that Mom would have cooked it.
