Rosewood Self-Catering is set in the residential suburb of Gonubie, a popular holiday destination near East London. Gonubie is a popular fishing destination and well known for the annual Surfer’s Marathon as well as the Half Iron Man Competition.
We have three units: The Rosewood Cottage is a 4-6 sleeper cottage and consists of a bathroom and an open-plan lounge and kitchen and 2 bedrooms. The first bedroom has a double bed and the second contains 2 single beds. The bathroom is a full bathroom with bath and shower. The cottage has its own private entrance and braai facilities. It has limited DSTV and secure undercover parking is provided for guests.
Rosewood Studio is a flat and is a 2-4 sleeper. It comprises a double bed and a single day bed, together with a lounge, bathroom with a shower only, and a kitchenette. It has full DSTV and secure parking. There is no braai facilities.
Rosewood Annex is a two sleeper unit consisting of a double bed, seating area, kitchenette and bathroom with a double shower. It has full DSTV, Wi-Fi and secure parking. The annex has its own Patio area with braai facilities.
Rosewood is within walking distance of the Gonubie Golf course and a 5-minute drive to the idyllic Gonubie Beach and shopping mall. It is a 20-minute drive to all the facilities in East London including shopping malls, golf courses, restaurants and a 30-minute drive to game farms and the beautiful East Coast Resorts.

Our stay was wonderfully comfortable. Host was great. Unit was clean and comfortable. Will be back.
I was welcomed with a friendly smile on arrival. My all too short stay at Rosewood Cottage was wonderful with excellent, very spacious accommodation, tastefully decorated and restful. The cottage had every amenity I could have wished for and more.
My dogs had good space to move around and were happy and secure.
I shall definitely like to stay there during my visits to East London in the future.
