African Olive Country Estate is conveniently located a mere 1 km from Parys on a tarred road, close enough to pop in and out of town and far enough to be in the country. African Olive Country Estate is ideal for those who want to escape the rat race but still enjoy the comforts of all the fine dining and shopping close at hand.
African Olive Country Estate, located at the gateway to the Dome Land World Heritage Site, provides luxury, self-catering accommodation for discerning guests in the form of two well-appointed luxury cottages and two studio apartments. All accommodation overlooks the farm and a century-old water channel from the Vaal River. Units are air-conditioned and stylishly appointed with cotton percale linen, antique furniture, Persian carpets, original artwork and complimentary sherry for that well earned night cap. The luxury cottages also boast a large fireplace that provides the best ambiance for those chilly, romantic, winter evenings.
Being a working farm, one can expect the goats to amble by while relaxing on your stoep. Designed for adult relaxation in mind, we unfortunately do not cater for young children. So pack in your book, fill your cooler box and come and enjoy all the beauty that African Olive Country Estate and the Parys area has to offer

It was a wonderful time and I would like to thank everyone there for excellent accomodation . We were received in a very friendly way and informed of all the local activities that was going on for the weekend. There were also recommendations for restaurants that was very helpful. I will really reccomend them and stay there again.
What a lovely relaxing weekend we had! We stayed in one of the luxury cottages and it had everything we needed. Beautifully decorated and with a big veranda - with a view of the goats, ostrich and geese. Close enough to Parys to explore, but with a relaxed, away-from-it-all farm vibe. Can't wait for our next visit.

We needed a relaxed weekend away and we got exactly that. Observing the animals and sitting next to the stream was so tranquil. Our host was friendly, helpful and kind. We will certainly go back to African Olive Country Estate.
