Hillside is situated close to the N1 between Trompsburg and Springfontein in the Southern Free State. A perfect overnight stop for anyone traveling from Gauteng, Limpopo, Mpumalanga and even KZN to the Eastern or Western Cape.
Accommodation is available in three different sized lodgings: Len’s Cottage, Garden View and The Tree House. Located behind a koppie and set in a beautiful garden, so our guests can fully appreciate the beauty of the renowned Free State countryside, sunset and expansive sky.

Lovely stopover with hearty home cooking and warm hospitality.
A very pleasant overnight with the house very convenient to the N1 without it having the traffic noise as a problem.Lens cottage has a HUGE bathroom and the evening meal served on the cottage patio added to the experience
