At 7 van Dyk provides self-catering accommodation for up to six guests in a Karoo style house.

Karoo peace, tranquility and star-filled night skies, all can be found at this charming Karoo-style cottage in the heart of the beautiful village of Prince Albert. The cottage has three bedrooms and can comfortably accommodate six guests.

At 7 van Dyk is situated in a very quiet side street with views onto snowy mountains in winter and it is within walking distance of the shops and local coffee shops and restaurants.

The well-equipped kitchen has a freezer, large fridge, microwave oven, two plate stove and small oven and separate dining area.

Tea, coffee, cereals, yoghurt and rusks are supplied.

The three bedrooms consist of one bedroom with a queen-sized bed, a second bedroom with a double bed and a third bedroom with two single beds.

There is one bathroom with a bath with hand shower.

Outside is the gigantic shady patio with braai facilities - an ideal place to snooze on the stoep bed, with a misting system for hot Summer afternoons.

Quality linen, towels, mosquito nets and fans are supplied.

A washing machine on the premises is available for guests to use.

Games, books and magazines are supplied along with information about what to do and see in Prince Albert and in the district.

Your hostess, Barbara, speaks English, Afrikaans and German.

There is secure, covered off-street parking for three vehicles.

At 7 van Dyk is a pet friendly for small, well behaved and house trained dogs.

The charm and character of this town impressed me. The Karoo gardens are beautiful and there are interesting local products for sale. I recommend the book shop in Marlene's home.

Peace and quiet; feeling of safety; good clean air. We attended a wonderful photographic course with Louis Botha.

The variety of things to do from hiking to cycling down a mountain, wine tasting, general relaxing in the various restaurant / gift shops. HIGHLIGHT SWARTBERG PASS!

Prince Albert is a lovely little town at the foot of the Swartberg Mountains.
What struck me in particular is how clean the streets are and the friendliness of the locals.
We went to a movie in “The Showroom” and were surprised to find such an amazing Art deco gem in the middle of the Karoo. “The Showroom” boasts state-of-the-art theatre and cinema equipment, making it suitable to facilitate and attract some of the country’s top performers.
