Welcome to Kohandè.
Kohandè is situated in the scenic LEEUWKLOOF VALLEY CONSERVANCY in GAUTENG, in the heart of DINOKENG- which makes it the ideal destination for nature lovers.
There is three luxury tents with en-suite bathrooms. Accommodation for 2 adults each (sorry, no children allowed). A fully equipped kitchenette with fridge/freezer makes self-catering a pleasure. Each tent is private with its own lovely panoramic view over the bushveld where you can relax and enjoy the extraordinary sunsets and listen to the call of jackals.
Free roaming game like Kudu, Impala, Njala, to name a few, can be viewed at your leisure. Kohandè is a birdwatcher’s paradise with abundant bird life. Hornbills, flycatchers and many more inhabit our valley.
Each tent has its own “boma” with a braai facility, is private and will allow you to escape and provide you with the relaxation you crave after a stressful week.
The Dinokeng Big Five Game reserve is virtually on our doorstep. The area is malaria free and boasts a very moderate climate.

Great place for a breakaway weekend
Very clean and relaxing
Was lovely to be in total isolation and peace and quiet. Enjoyed the hot tub and the glamping was excellent! Thank you very much!
Very cosy atmosphere and in the bush
This was one of the most memorable places I have been to. The tents and surroundings were clean, the host welcoming and friendly while being unintrusive and the accommodation has everything one needs and much more. Even loadshedding could not spoil our stay. Definitely worth a visit if you need a place away from the bustle of everyday life!
In just under an hour's drive from Pretoria lies the beautiful hidden gem called Kohandè. A short part of the journey to the tent is on a dirt road that our small hatchback could handle with ease. You are greeted by a friendly guard and as you journey through are transported to a pristine bush environment. In stark contrast to the hustle and bustle of the city, the silence and sounds of insects become the soundtrack to your stay. The Ferox tent is perched at an ideal angle to view the animals (zebra and impala) frequenting the watering hole and catch the stunning sunsets from the comfort of the wood-fired hot tub. The host has ensured that all the necessary amenities are available and even welcomed us with freshly baked goodies and farm-fresh organic eggs. It did get chilly at night (visited in late April) however the hot tub and electric blanket kept us cozy. The Ferox tent was quite sizable and well laid out. The host paid great attention to detail and we felt most welcome.

Great tented camp set up. Clean, with great kitchen amenities (just without microwave). Our unit (nr 3), had a great view of the watering hole with Zebra's and bucks making their way to drink in the evenings. Braai area was lovely (with it's own boma). Great value for money.

The Cottage was not in Cullinan but very close, we did not visit Cullinan but will do next time.
Lots of hidden Gems, small town with a lot of love in it. I’d say spend a week there - exploring and enjoying what the small town has to offer

Cullinan is a little sweet town, great restaurants. Very nice to relax. Very nice gift shops, great friendly people. There is great history and nice places to look at. Very nice for a get away weekend.
Spa & Golf!
The little town is so vibrant and full of life. We really enjoyed all of the little shops and the hospitality. We especially enjoyed Opistasie Bar and restaurant, such a lovely set up and truly authentic. The Warehouse was a lovely touch as well.
