Goedewater Cottage is a self-catering unit that is located on Goedewater farm, 15 km outside of Machadodorp. The cottage is ideal for a family looking fora comfortable yet basic get-away, away from the city life.
The cottage has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and an open-plan living area. The main bedroom is equipped with a double bed and twin beds in the second room. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, basin and a toilet. The kitchen is spacious and contains a fridge-freezer; a microwave; a toaster; a kettle; and ample built-in cupboards with cutlery.The living area has comfortable seating and there is a dinning table with 6 chairs. Guests are welcome to make use of the braai facilities outside of the cottage.
Activities that can be enjoyed on the farm include horse riding, bird watching, bass fishing and clay pigeon shooting. There is also an abundance of hiking and mountain biking trails on the farm.
Goedewater Cottage is about 1.5 km down the road from The Silver Sixpence wedding venue and it is also a drive away from the Kloppenheim Country Estate, which offers spa facilities, a pub and a restaurant.
