Welcome to The Earthy Inn!

The Earthy Inn is a luxurious and elegant guest suite located in a very quiet part of Greyton close to the nature reserve. The owner, Collette, has a wonderful eye for detail and is also the owner of a very stylish local store called ‘The Earthy Shop’. She has decorated the suite to a very high standard. This establishment oozes luxury and style

The Earthy Inn contains a king-size bed with percale linen, wooden floors, and a view onto the landscaped garden. The large en-suite bathroom is tastefully finished, with a bath, large shower and a heated towel rail.

The garden is private and has many nooks to sit and read a book and relax. There is a dam and the garden is fully fenced. Take an amble around the garden, or laze on the loungers with a view of the mountains and the fresh country air you can fully relax and unwind here in peace and tranquility. Regrettably no pets allowed.

Amenities include high quality linen and towels are provided for your stay, his-and-hers night gowns, a coffee plunger, speciality teas, fresh milk and rusks for the morning, 2 bottles of water, a bar fridge, sofa, DStv, Wi-Fi, wireless Bluetooth speaker, books, an electric blanket and an oil heater for winter, a fan for summer, off-street parking, and security.

There are bicycles for you to use to explore the wonderful village.
Bicycle Rental Rates:
R50 for an hour
R75 for 2 hours
Day Rental R220

Natural products are used here and we like to conserve water on the property and the owner asks that all guests are careful with water usage.

Your host can arrange many extras to make your stay that ‘little bit of extra magic’ including champagne and chocolates in the room for that special occasion, beauty therapies, Hemel en Aarde wine route shuttle and much more.. This is an ideal weekend getaway for anyone wishing to spoil a loved one.

This was truly the best place I have ever been... I loved everything!!! The feel of the towels, how well the bed slept, and the scenery. All the little extras in the room made it feel like home. This is a very special place and I highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful stay in this cozy little haven with its tasteful decor and beautiful mountain views. Collette is a fabulous host who adds a little magic with thoughtful touches. Being able to bring our doggy along was an added bonus. A fantastic pamper session in her lovely treatment room in the garden was the cherry on top and not to be missed!

One of the best accommodation experiences we have ever had! Collette really goes above and beyond with her guests, with dark hot chocolate in the room with marshmallows, lavender bath salts and lovely products from her shop in the bathroom and so much more. She was very kind towards our staffy Kylo and even borrowed a ball for him to play with! The room had gowns and slippers to borrow and the bookcase was filled with actual books and not just other random ornaments like other guesthouses. We truly felt welcome and at home with Collette and will definitely be back as soon as possible. Not to mention Greyton as a whole which blew our minds! See you soon Collette :)

Really enjoyed our stay! Everything was lovely and clean, and a lot of effort has been put into creating a decor that is welcoming as well as comfortable. Amazing garden and a very helpful host! Super close to the nature reserve and start of hiking trails, though walking to the restaurants in town is a bit more of a walk - which we did anyway. Highly recommended!

My wife and I left the bustle of the city for the small village of Greyton. We were looking for something peaceful and romantic. The Earthy Inn provided exactly that. The owner is terrific and she made all our requests possible. I'd return here anytime.

Serene getaway, a moment away from Cape Town, great for a relaxing weekend of wine tasting, hiking and even mountain biking.

It is a beautiful, quiet town where you can rest, reset and enjoy nature - but with really good coffee and great little shops :)

Greyton is a small, quaint and quiet village with lots to see and offer. A good selection of restaurants offering a range of cuisine options, coffee shops, galleries, Garden Centre, plus Greyton is ideal for outdoor adventures and adventurers. Many hiking and cycling trails, all marked and mapped, for the beginner to the advanced. An hour and a half from Cape Town, so an easy, beautiful drive, through the Overberg farmlands.
