Woodlands Bush Lodge is a beautiful, self-catering bush lodge that can accommodate 8 guests and is located in the middle of Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate which is very secure. The lodge faces onto open bushlands which makes this the ideal accommodation for guests looking to truly unwind and enjoy a private bush living experience.
There are four fully equipped bedrooms with air-conditioning. Two bedrooms are equipped with queen beds in each room and the other two bedrooms contain single beds. There are four bathrooms which is separate from the main living area.
The kitchen is fully equipped for your self-catering needs and the lounge area has a full DSTV bouquet.
Guests can enjoy the two braai facilities, relax under the trees in a hammock, take a dip in the sparkling swimming pool, admire the exquisite view from the patio, or get lost in a book in the inviting lounge area. The estate also have wildlife roaming the area.
There are many activities in the area for guests to explore, from Blydepoort dam game viewing excursions, white river rafting on the Blyde River or in the Olifants gorge to fishing & boating on Klaserie Dam. There are two golf courses, Hoedspruit Drakensig Club (9-hole) and Hans Merensky (18-hole). Guests interested in flying safaris can also experience this in the area.

We loved Woodlands Bush Lodge! It was a perfect house and location for our group of friends. Everything was clean and ready for our arrival. The Estates are full of animal life and we enjoyed seeing several examples from our own patio and fire pit. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet and beautiful place to stay in Hoedspruit. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful and Clean, pity a place like Mali Mali can upset a persons Holiday... an event that was meant to be legendary! Mali Mali is not as per there website... they manipulate the internet!
The nature.
Morokologa game reserve, we spend our Christmas at the camp and we had a beautiful game drive and morning walks with my grandmother. Played games and reconnected as a family.
Most of Gold cabins- the weather - the sound of the birds-
Since we have family and old colleagues in Hoedspruit we enjoy everything. Love going to Hoedspruit for a weekend break away.
The quietness.
It’s a beautiful town which is easily accessible and has all the convenient shopping around the lodges nearby and one is able to do various activities around the area.
Privacy!
The town is very small yet beautiful and neat. It has lots of tourist attractions and good place to visit, just to unwind!
