Inyameko BnB is located on a working small holding in Centurion and offers guests a choice of a lovely room in the main house (the "White room"), adjacent to it the "Yellow Room", one of 4 rustic Lapa units and 3 converted stables. The Hide is situated on the pond at the bottom of the property. Ideal for a couple, but there is a large couch in the living area should you wish to bring your kiddies along (must be able to swim). A lovely deck leads out over the dam from the bedroom. Fishing is permitted on a catch and release basis.
The White Room is part of the main dwelling, where the owners live, but with its own private entrance. Access can also be via the main house.
This unit has an air-conditioned (cold air only) main bedroom which is furnished with a queen-size bed. This room also has a huge en-suite bathroom with a bath and a shower. The kitchenette leads off the main bedroom and is equipped with a fridge, a microwave, an induction plate, a kettle, a toaster, as well as cutlery and crockery. The unit has its own private little braai area. Full DStv is available.
The Yellow Room is adjacent to the White Room and only let out as a unit with the White Room when the guest party exceeds 2. The unit can accommodate an additional couple or Children and has its own private bathroom. Please message the host should you wish to book this room too. There is no charge for small children/babies who share the "White Room" with their parents, older children should be booked into this adjacent "Yellow Room" at an additional charge.
The Lapa consists of 4 individual units, with a Living area/Kitchenette, wet room (Toilet, basin and Shower) and the lodge DSTV package. The bedroom is upstairs in the loft and there is an outside braai area. Ideal for singles and Couples. The steps to the loft are quite steep and not suitable for small children or people who don't like stairs.
The stables are single units, with small sleeping/living area; wet room and kitchenette. The stables were once stables, they are compact and quirky. The Blue Stable's bedroom is separate and can accommodate a child at an additional R50 per night. The stables are really only a place to lay your head - camping prices but you have proper beds and linen a kitchenette and don't need to share ablutions. There is no TV in the Stables.
All units are accessed via a back yard, which has been fenced off for additional security, with covered parking for vehicles.
Guests are welcome to use the pool, and the Lapa down at the dam at the bottom of the plot (except when booked for a function) but are asked to please leave it the way it was found.
For your peace of mind, Inyameko BnB is accessed by a remote control gate, beams are armed at night and is connected to a security company. There is always at least one staff member on duty at all times.
A complimentary light breakfast is included in the price (cereal and Toast). English Breakfasts are available at an extra charge of R50 pp.
