Reviews
Beautiful, spacious room in a quiet, tranquil spot. Highly recommended.
I could not go had to give the booking to a family member. Host had no problem with the new arrangement.
Family had enjoy their stay at Blou Porselein.
Although we found no reviews for this establishment, I opted to stay here on the last minute. The very large old spacious farm house we occupied forms part of a collection of buildings that comprises the working farm. This proximity to the main house did not infringe on our privacy in any way. There is much to appreciate about the establishment and the surrounds. The house was light and airy and well equipped for self-catering. The kitchen has an extra annex for cooking and cleaning and this has a view over the river. The layout of the kitchen and spacious lounge and dining area made socializing so much easier.
We also appreciated the warm and sincere welcome by the hostess and her willingness to assist us. We were truly spoilt by all the gifts and the extras! The dogs were also great companions on our walks.
The only drawback might be the churned up gravel road leading up to farm but that is due to the recent rains and the road-facing signage could be larger.
All in all, we considered this a wonderful farm stay that we would gladly repeat and we were glad we chose this establishment.

Nice restaurants!
Near to Cape Town
Lovely town for eating good food, meeting friendly people, relaxing and just chilling out
The oldest hotel in South Africa. Delicious meal at Pinata.
Beautiful village with interesting shops and places to eat
Nice artistic vibe.
the variety, the quality and quantity of restaurants, the views
Cafe Felix is lovely. We had dinner there. Wonderful atmosphere. The quiet of the town. At night you can "hear" the silence. Beautiful place.
The wonderful location, the views, the mountains and the local people. We met a fantastic artist call Piet Blom, and his wife Hester! His paintings are all about trees, and the complexity in his art is incredible!! We bumped into Mornè du Plessis, what a great man! And Roberto the Italian owner of Angies is a great host and looking after every patron personally.
For me the people, the unique town setup and the wine and nature and the simplicity of all makes it a great destination.
Beans about coffee!!
