30 on Oatlands Road Accommodation - Originally a farm building in the now modern suburb of Oatlands, Grahamstown, 30 on Oatlands has been lovingly renovated to offer comfortable accommodation with original Oregon floors & an old-fashioned shutter facade.

Our 30 on Oatlands Accommodation comprises simple, neatly decorated cottage-style guest rooms.The “town collection” has a private separate well equipped garden cottage and three twin-bedded en-suite guest rooms having communal access to the central lounge, and the distinctive ability to create inter-leading access. An easy chair is provided in each room where one can sit and relax when wanting some quiet time. Restored Oregon floors offer warmth to the accommodation.

A Stone's Throw or 30 on Oatlands Road Accommodation is ideal for visitors to the wide variety of attractions historical and educational in Grahamstown including, Rhodes University, Kingswood College, St Andrews College, The Diocesan School for Girls, Artificers Square, the old artisan quarter with many restored original houses which reflect a number of 1820 Settler architectural styles. The Botanical Gardens, 1820 Settlers National Monument, Fort Selwyn, Gunfire Hill, used as a lookout point for the garrison in early Grahamstown years. Albany History Museum, Selmar Schonland Herbarium, a pressed plant library. National English Literary Museum & Bookshop, Observatory Museum. The Observatory is a unique multi-storeyed 19th century Victorian shop and home which is now a museum. Visit the Egazini Memorial one of the first township based heritage sites in South Africa.
