Rondawel Guest Farm is an owner-run guest house that is located on a working sheep farm situated 38 km from Richmond off the N1 freeway, in the Northern Cape. Ideal for guests looking for a breakaway or a comfortable stopover.
Accommodation at Rondawel Guest Farm offers 4 thatched-roof rondavels, which sleeps between 2 to 4 people. These rondavels are beautifully decorated and have 1 bedroom; equipped with either a double bed and or 2 single beds, with an en-suite or separate bathroom. Each unit also contains facilities such as fans, heaters, electric blankets, a bar fridge, and tea- and coffee-making facilities.
Delicious meals can be arranged at a cost and is served in the separate dining area. The guest house also have access to a communal kitchen that is well-equipped for self-catering purposes and braai amenities can be pre-arranged as well. There is also a cemented dam for those hot summer days and a jungle gym for children to play on.
Secure parking is available for vehicles, behind remote-controlled gates.
Rondawel Guest Farm offers ample bird watching opportunities and mountain biking trails for guests to enjoy.

We enjoyed the well organised stay. The bungalow was spacious even with 4 of us and we were able to enjoy making our own dinner using the facilities provided.
Excellent, very clean, awesome food and a friendly host.
We stayed at Rondawel Guest Farm on our way down to the Cape in the last December holidays. We loved the Karoo feel, although we heard the road close by at night. But being exhausted we did not mind as the beds and bedding was so comfortable. Dinner was served in the lapa which was lovely home cooked food with brilliant leg of lamb and so convenient as we did not have to go to town as we had our 2 large dogs with us. We walked a bit around the farm which was so relaxing. What a lovely stop over next to the N1 with the most friendly service from Teresa. We highly recommend it.
Gewoonlik gaan ons tuis by Aandrus in Richmond, maar hulle was vol bspreek en ek het via Google op Rondawel Guest House afgekom. Wat 'n aangename verrassing. Regte Oasis in die Karoo. Vriendelike ontvangs, ons het heerlik op die plaas rondgestap en 'n regte plaasgevoel kon geniet. Raai waar slaap ons vlg keer as ons moet oorslaap?!
A comfortable stopover. The host was warm & welcoming, dinner was *delicious*, and the room was very nice for us weary travelers. The guest lounge/kitchen/dining area was a welcome surprise.

Wonderful accommodation at Aandrus B+B, on the outskirts of town, is affordable and is of a high standard with the friendly and efficient owner and staff available to care for every need. I can highly recommend this establishment.
