Khangela Lodge is an exclusive, self-catering which offers a full kitchen, dining room, lounge and a large deck overlooking the swimming pool. There are 3 beautiful chalets each with their own private bathroom and is situated in the heart of Hluhluwe, Southern Maputaland.
The three luxury, air-conditioned chalets each have their own wooden decks with seating, nestled in the bush, overlooking the peaceful waterhole. Cottages are fitted with a king-size/dbl twin bed, have an en-suite bathroom with a bath and indoor/outdoor shower, and offer an amazing view of the bush.
The living area has an inviting, comfortable lounge with a flat-screen TV and a full DSTV. The dining area has a lovely 12 seater dining table and there is a fully equipped kitchen for your self-catering needs. Included, is a spacious inside-outside bar. The lounge opens out onto a decking area with a sparkling swimming pool and a fire pit under the trees. A perfect setting to relax and star gaze in the eveinings.
The Lodge accommodates 6 Adults in the 3 Chalets, each chalet is a 2 sleeper. Camp stretchers are available for kids under 10
Khangela Lodge is serviced daily.
Enjoy the self-guided walks and fantastic birding opportunities on the numerous walking trails available. There is abundant wildlife on the park from giraffe, wildebeest, nyala, warthog, impala, zebra, duiker, kudu to monkeys.
There are many great activities all within close proximity to the game park, such as spa pampering, golf, Big 5 viewing, elephant interaction, mountain biking, and reptile interaction.
Enjoy a tranquil getaway located on a 170-hectare private game reserve with its own sand forest, thornveld, wetlands, and grasslands, with an abundance of game and birdlife.
The lodge is just 16 kilometres from the town of Hluhluwe, on the road to Sodwana.

I have stayed in many 5 star hotels but to indulge in one which is situated completely in the bush is an experience out of this world. Peace and serenity were the order of the day...and night. Not a sound of a motor vehicle, no concrete jungles. The gazing of the moon and the stars, with no artificial lighting on the horizon, with sweet sounds of the birds and animals, made me and my guests one with nature. The modern lodge with all the fittings, fixtures and related provisions made us want to return for the peace of our mind and soul. Unusually superb and fantabulous.
