Welcome to Sanlee Country Lodge. Sanlee Country Lodge is a 25-hectare property situated on Dargle , in the picturesque and serene KwaZulu Natal Midlands.
We are approximately forty minutes from Nottingham Road, close to many idyllic spots for fly fishing and picnicking. The property is part of an indigenous forest with magnificent trees and walking trails for the enjoyment of our guests.
We have a swimming pool overlooking the valley and a lapa with BBQ facilities available for your enjoyment and comfort.
There is an abundance of wildlife species, which move freely through properties in the region, so be on the lookout for buck, mongoose, porcupines, jackal and otters. Birdlife is also prolific – we have a couple of resident peacocks and peahens and have frequent visits from the Brown Eagle and Hammerkop.

Very pet-friendly. Was very important to us. So overall excellent.
Set in a really quiet part of the Midlands, Sanlee Country Lodge in Dargle was the perfect place for us to relax and unwind this past weekend. Exceptionally friendly staff, James made our stay all the more enjoyable, and was always on hand and very attentive to whatever we required. The gardens are tranquil, and despite the load shedding etc we really had a lovely weekend away. We would definitely consider going back with friends.

Quaint corners, scenic drives, a range of places to visit. Blueberry Cafe at Netherwood Farm stands out as a highlight - for numerous reasons.

Dargle is close to where we live in Kloof but we feel like we are on holiday in the country side. We love walking in the forest at Crab Apple Cottages.
