Skietkuil farm is situated on the N1. A quiet, scenic stopover for those who are traveling.
Situated in the heart of the Karoo and offers warm hospitality, tranquility and magnificent Karoo sunsets.
The guest farm offers accommodation with quiet surroundings where guests can unwind and relax for the night during their long journeys.
With comfortable and tastefully decorated air-conditioned units, two of them has fully equipped kitchens. In-room facilities DStv, electric blankets, rusks and dry cereals with milk in every room.
Guests can relax with a refreshment from the honesty bar. Fine country cuisine is cooked in our farm kitchen such as Karoo lamb, beef and venison, cooked to perfection, served with home grown farm vegetables. Dinners are served in the restaurant.
Barbecue facilities are available to guests under the Karoo stars and braai packs are offered.
An English breakfast will only be served upon request.

What a wonderful experience staying at Skietkuil. The hospitality was awesome and I would definitively be staying again.
Great venue to make the long journey between JHB and Cape Town more pleasant.
Well situated with all that is needed to re-charge before resuming the journey. Neat as a Pin and very well taken care off. Friendly & professional owners in Anel & Isak. Well done, keep up the great work!
What a beautiful place to sleep over, We have had braai pack's with "braaibroodjies"

Die blyplek was gemaklik, skoon en net wat mens nodig het na 'n lang dag op die pad.
Die kos was uit die boonsdte rakke en ek sal die plekkie aan enige iemand aanbeveel wat 'n plekkie soek op die lang pad na of van die Kaap.
Daar was 'n klein foutjie met ons kamer maar hulle het dadelik iemand gestuur om aandag te gee en ons na 'n ander kamer toe geskuif as gevolg van die fout, wat baie bedaagsaam van hulle was.

Skietkuil is exceptionally clean + refreshing.Their dinner is to die for, was so tender + very tasteful.The hosts are very helpful. I would highly recommend this farm guesthouse to anyone.
We had a lovely overnight stay at Skietkuil Guest Farm! The rooms were neat and clean, the aircon was very welcome and the food was delicious! Thanks for having us and the 3 dogs to stay!
The most fantastic place to recharge or to get in the holiday mood. Izak, Anel, Ané and Zack are amazing hosts. They most certainly know how to treat guests and to make your overnight stay something to remember!!!
