Stone Cottage was built in 2015 by a stone mason who manually chipped each stone and skilfully placed them into place,it is a gorgeous, cosy and charming stone guest house with an uninterrupted and sweeping view of the mountains and the surrounding farmlands.
The Cottage consists of four bedrooms (two loft rooms and two rooms on the bottom story)and two bathrooms en-suite. Coffee, tea, milk and sugar are provided on arrival; all kitchens are fully equipped with all necessities needed however please note we do not have an oven only a gas stove top but there is a weber for your use. Bath towels and all bedding are supplied. There is adequate parking for boats, trailers, cars.
This unpretentious country cottage has a cheerful electric blend of the quaint and the contemporary. Not only has Stone Cottage the appeal of lively originality, the ambience is warm, and the service dedicated. For nature enthusiasts, bird life abounds in our surrounding area which becomes part of the experience. Enjoy a quite afternoon drink and listen to the crack of a shepherds whip as they collect the sheep for the evening. Leisurely country days can be filled with walks, fishing, mountain biking.
Please note due to our farm being a working sheep farm we cannot accommodate pets. The Cottage is only a short 10 km drive from Maclear but please note it is preferable that you have a high clearance vehicle for your trip out to the Cottage.
