The house has a patio with braai overlooking the river and swimming pool. The house can be booked together as 2 units both 397 and 398 Vaal de Grace to cater for groups of up to 12 guests.

The villa is located on the north-facing bank of the Vaal River, and can comfortably accommodate up to six guests. The villa comprises three en-suite bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge and dining area, and an undercover patio with outdoor furniture and braai facilities. River access for fishing is available via gabion steps and two kayaks are provided for canoeing on the river.

Parys is a town situated on the banks of the Vaal River in the Free State province of South Africa. The name of the town is the Afrikaans translation of Paris. The name was given by a German surveyor named Schilbach who had participated in the Siege of Paris during the Franco-Prussian War and the location next to the Vaal reminded him of Paris on the River Seine. The area of Parys also includes the two townships Tumahole and Schonkenville.

The houses are beautiful and well maintained and also very well equipped with everything needed for a wonderful getaway. Great setting on the riverbank, perfect for sundowners. Richard is a super host and quite receptive. A pity that the pool was only swimmable on our last day! Just have 1 suggestion: to provide some additional bath & hand towels, 1 towel per person for 4 uses was a bit much.
Unit 397 is an absolute gem of a holiday home - fully equipped with all necessities in a luxurious environment.
The house is located in a quiet area of the golf estate, so no traffic noise that can disturb your stay.

Amazing stay at 397. House is beautiful and equipped with everything you need. The view of the river is stunning and location is perfect being in the golf course and 10min from town. Absolutely no complaints. We will definitely be back.
