•We supply catered and self catered accommodation on weekdays or weekends. Catered accommodation needs to be arranged beforehand.

•Booking can be done ‘On Line’ on our website. The weekend prices are generally a guide and should be confirmed with Brian first.
•If we have availability, on weekends, at short notice, we do not mind letting out our facility to couples, or small families, at a reduced tariff. Discuss this with Brian before making an ‘On Line’ weekend booking please.
•Catered buffet breakfasts cost R75 pp and 3 course dinners R175 pp (drinks excluded)

•On weekends & holidays, our staff, Lucas & Lungisile, will repack the fires each morning, they will wash the previous nights dishes, and clean the kitchen.
If you would require their further assistance, such as making of beds, helping with and cleaning up, after breakfast and lunch, and help with evening meal preparation, they can be hired at an extra cost of R200 per day, for the two. This would cover from 09h00 until 16h00. Please arrange this with Brian. Lucas & Lungisile, are here to help make your stay as relaxed and enjoyable as possible. Please discuss with Lucas, at what time you would like them to arrive in the mornings –normal time on weekends & holidays is 08h00. (see note above)
•We normally require up to a 50% deposit to secure a booking – balance a week before arrival. A booking is only confirmed on payment of the deposit.

Paardeplaats being 770ha in extent, was proclaimed as a Nature Reserve, in 1956. We have a variety of small game (oribi, grey rheebuck, mountain reed buck, duiker, klipspringers, blesbuck and often eland and kudus. There are also baboons, porcupines, honey badgers, brown hyenas, black-backed jackals, rooikatte and at times, sometimes frequently, even leopards). We boarder on the Gustav Klingbiel Nature Reserve on our western boundary.
In Room Facilities:
These rooms were all built on the original stone foundations of the three different mining ruins, linked with shady stone pathways, lantern lit at night. All rooms have solar powered reading lamps, unaffected by Eskom power outages.
