Welcome to Meyerspoort farm, it's situated 50km south of Beaufort West in the Karoo region of South Africa.
It is a tranquil place in the heart of the Karoo, where a million stars fill the sky at night.
This is a uniquely Karoo experience to share with family and friends on a working Karoo sheep farming enterprise.
Mainly producing Karoo lamb.
Running a Boran cattle stud.
Growing Lucerne (alfalfa) under irrigation.
Small-scale fruit production.
Various fruits in season all year round.
Daily activities might include working with Meat master sheep or Boran cattle, milking cows, cutting or baling hay, irrigating Lucerne fields, or attending to fence and road maintenance.

Good for a stopover. Many shops and garages to stock up. It’s very hot in December so prepare for heat and have water on hand! We encountered very friendly people, both residents and families passing through Beaufort. We had a very positive experience. Beaufort is literally on the road to Cape Town so it was ideal for a stopover coming from Johannesburg.
