Reviews
Hannelie, the hostesses really went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Even through Eskom load shedding. She left us a camping lamp in our cottage. LED light outside the front door. Mosquitoes, no problem. Repellent for Africa! The unit is neat clean. I would definitely highly recommend Nuwerus to anyone.

Wine, the history side.
We found Tulbagh to be close enough to Cape Town for a quick weekend away with family & friends.
Clean town with stunning wine farms, wine tasting and lovely restaurants.
Very picturesque with great hiking, mountain biking trails.
Lots of convenient shops in the town.
Can't wait for our next visit.

We loved our Sunday lunch at Tulbagh Hotel and Champagne tasting at Krone.
We went to Essere lodge for a weekend and loved it! Have done many wine tastings at the surrounding farms, love going there often.
