Senekal Self-Catering Accommodation is situated in Senekal, in a country setting and offers comfortable accommodation in charming, elegantly decorated, chalets.
The inviting, spacious and open-plan chalets have air-conditioning and are separately built for your privacy. They are set in a large, tranquil garden, creating a peaceful atmosphere for guests to relax. Each chalet has 2 three-quarter beds, 1 single bed, an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, and a fully equipped kitchenette for your self-catering needs.
Each kitchenette is fully equipped with appliances that include a microwave, an electric frying pan, 2-plate stove, a kettle, a toaster and a fridge-freeze. Crockery, cutlery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities are also provided.
Linen, towels, soap and toilet paper are provided, however on request an iron and hairdryer can be provided. The chalets have free Wi-Fi Internet access and a TV with selected DSTV channels.
Outside each chalet, guests can enjoy their private braai facilities as well as a communal braai facility for when friends or family visit.
Each chalet has it's own parking on the property and is fully secured by fencing as well as CCTV cameras.
Your host and hostess, Derick and Suenette Thompson, will offer a warm welcome and do their utmost to ensure the best possible experience in service and sincere South African hospitality.

We arrived late in the afternoon and left very early in the morning, however the hosts were very welcoming and friendly, and the room was comfortable and well furbished. Travelling so far it was very comforting to have a clean, warm room to have a good nights sleep before continuing our journey. The best part is that the venue is pet friendly and our dog had room to stretch his legs after being stuck in the car for 6 hours. Thank you for an overall wonderful experience, even though it was so short.
Excellent experience, well worth the time and will be used again when travelling.

Beslis die beste plek in die Senekal omgewing om te bly, plek is veilig en skoon met baie vriendelike diens!!! Ek sal weer en weer hier bly wanneer ek tussen die Kaap en Natal reis.
I ended up at this fine establishment out of desperation, as my vehicle broke down right at a garage in town. The hosts, Derrick and Suenette treated me like their own family. I have never experienced such kind, caring helpful hosts and I have stayed in many establishments. Thank you Derrick, Suenette and Monique for your help in every way. Would recommend Senekal Self catering to all. You will not regret your stay.
Clean, nice beds, free-standing chalets with en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning. Each stoep has it's own braai. Kitchen is well kitted. AND they welcomed our dogs.
Excellent value for money. Perfect for a stop-over on a long road trip.
Our hosts were very warm and accommodating. Our cottage was well kitted-out with clean linen and an aircon unit (thank goodness for the aircon!). I would highly recommend as an overnight stay to anyone driving through Senekal. We'll be back.
