Marland Farm is nestled at the foot of Prince Alfred’s Pass, a mere 15 minute drive from Plettenberg Bay. The farm offers extraordinary views of the majestic Outeniqua Mountain Range, and boasts an amazing atmosphere of serenity and peace.
Accommodation is offered in a comfortable, private and fully equipped self-catering cottage - Sanders Cottage. The cottage is comfortably furnished, offering a home away from home experience. Sanders Cottage has two bedrooms with a double bed in the main bedroom and two 3/4 beds in the second bedroom.
The farm boasts a pool to lounge at, a braai area, a fire pit for late night talks, paths for walks, and a covered patio to enjoy the view. The sunrises and sunsets are unsurpassed. Bring along your binoculars to make the most of the wonderful bird life or come and explore the wide range of ‘must see’ places nearby including the Plettenberg Bay beaches and Keurbooms.
There are horses, dogs, cats and chickens on the property. All the animals are very friendly.

Friendly, hospitable and cozy. Loverly farmhouse with wonderful hosts.
Our dogs had fun in the open space, barked at the cows and ignored the friendly horse crazing in the front garden.
Such a wonderful place to stay - a real home from home experience. We loved the animals, the views and the tranquility that surrounds these two gorgeous cottages. We went for a family reunion and felt that we were leaving family behind when we said goodbye to our fantastic hosts. Thank you - we will definitely be back!
Marland Farm was the perfect place to disappear from the busy city life. It’s homely, quiet and the landscape creates a serene atmosphere. It’s clean, with all facilities and amenities one needs. It’s within striking distance of all surrounding areas and activities, and yet, set away from the hustle and bustle of town living. Our friendly hosts, Claire and Mario welcome you with open arms and ensure you feel at home.
We had a 'fantabulous' stay! My friend's dog Shandy was made most welcome by the Host & her team! That was pretty important as there are not too many pet-friendly establishments on Garden Route. The cottage was very comfortable & well-equipped - home from home experience! I plan to go back there soon to chill out & enjoy the lovely views from all areas of the Farm . ☺🐶
Five stars plus! Everything about Marland Farm was amazing. Claire and Mario were the perfect hosts, going the extra mile on a daily basis, even providing a decorated Christmas table and chairs under the glorious shady tree for our party of twelve. Tranquility and beauty from every angle, magnificent sunsets, a deep pool to cool off in and the cottages themselves are equipped with everything including plungers and hairdryers. Twenty minutes to the beach (even in hectic Christmas traffic). We'll definitely be back.
