The village with its cobbled winding roads are a hive of activity with shops, restaurants, vendors, stalls and tourist attractions. Simon's Town has some of the very best seafood restaurants in the country and has become a firm favourite amongst gourmands. Interesting antique, clothing and bric-a-brac shops will keep you browsing for hours.

Absolutely stunning location. Jonathan was super friendly and helpful checking us in at the last minute. We had a wonderful night's sleep overlooking breathtaking views from our bedroom window and then we were greeted with a lovely breakfast and friendly chat from Sue. Will definitely see us again.

My 2 teens (14 and 12) and I desperately needed this personal getaway and most importantly, quality time. Despite living only 25km from this absolutely amazing guesthouse, it felt like we were in a different part of the country altogether. We visit the West Coast annually; however the Covid19 pandemic and Lockdown L3 restricted us from our familiar pleasures.
Our Suite with a kitchenette had the most Amazing view of False Bay and the Naval Harbour, our own balcony with much needed privacy. The guesthouse dressed with the swimming pool's sapphire blue waters, spacious outdoor lounging areas and coupled with cleanliness, I consider as simply the best! The best! Unexpectedly so, as the pictures we see on the site, does not do this venue justice.
The Sunrises will sweep you off your feet. And the Sea air will take your breath away!!!
Simonstown offers so much to see and do; plan accordingly to make the most of Boulders, paddle bikes out to sea, Cape Point around the corner... Activities and attractions are plentiful! On that note, we got to enjoy the Ostrich Farm and Reptile Tour – my Tweens and I thoroughly enjoyed this!
Sue, Debbie, Paddy and Jonathan are remarkable hosts; welcoming, super friendly with warm hearts - we need more of you kind Souls in the hospitality industry. Thank you for sharing your Love. May the Universe pour out its positive energy to you fine people. We’ll definitely see you again soon rather than later.
Well, that said, I leave it to you viewers to experience. Tell me how YOUR stay was ;)

What’s not to LOVE My sister and I spent a perfect 3 nights at the Grosvenor which is immaculately maintained, beautifully furnished, in a great location with a pool and ocean views. Yummy breakfast served on the balcony which is situated off the intimate but spacious visitors’ lounge. Our bedroom/sitting room was so luxurious and comfy with en-suite and balcony. Sue, the manager, James and Jonathan whose warmth, kindness and happy smiles really made our holiday so special. We were lucky enough to meet Blessing & Grace who quietly and efficiently keep everything sparkling. Thank you all Diane & Jean

After months of gloomy Cape Town weather and in need of some much-needed RR with the wife, I remembered that I had a received a gift to stay at the Grosvenor Guest House. With both our birthdays being in September we booked for the weekend of mine. On arrival we were warmly welcomed by Sue who managers this gem of a guest house and Jonathan the chef and multitasker A bottle of bubbly accompanied us to our very spacious; airy and comfortable suite. My wife immediately went to the balcony kicked off her shoes and took in the magnificent views of this naval town. The Grosvenor is quaint with that old school charm, warm and inviting with all your modern amenities needed for a very comfortable stay. Jonathan whipped up breakfast in the mornings and Sue gave us the rundown of what’s hip & happening in the naval town. It was the weekend of the Simons Town regatta, so we had a wonderful view from our balcony to take pics and view at our leisure. Simons Town was alive and bustling, the weather perfect for walks to go experience the local fare and we even managed to add in a day drive to Cape Point & surrounds. We absolutely loved the experience of coming “home” after having dinner in town, having our coffee on the deck overlooking the glassy ocean. I would highly recommend popping out to the Grosvenor Guest House in our Naval town for a very relaxing, refreshing little break. On our doorstep but like taking a leap into a hassle free, arty, historic and chilled environment. A huge thank you to Debbie Smuts and her team for a wonderful experience & stay at a real gem the Grosvenor Guest House.

It really is a must see town, there is a scratch patch with the most beautiful stones. Boulders beach is a fantastic spot to relax and enjoy the penguins and plenty of shops to browse, plus a very nice yacht club with plenty of spots to choose from to grab something to eat.
