Amara Tomana offers comfortable accommodation in a beautiful duplex cottage that can sleep 2 - 8 guests located on a farm called Vanderhovensrust, 150 km south of Bloemfontein in Boesmanskop. The perfect relaxing getaway with family or a group of friends.
The farm is surrounded by stunning views of mountains and nature, on a clear day you can see 100’s of kilometres far. Amara Tomana is independent from the traditional power grid.
The charming cottage has two bedrooms, the main bedroom with queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom and the second room is situated upstairs with two double-size beds and twin singles. The bathroom down stairs has a gas geiser. The inviting open-plan living area has a lounge area, dining table and kitchen. The kitchen is equipped for your self-catering needs and has a gas stove, gas refrigerator and other appliances.
Guests can enjoy the large outside boma, it is especially great for evening braai's and to relax around the fire while enjoying the stars of the milky way.
There are many activities on the farm from bird-watching, guinea-fowl hunting. The mountain road offers guests the opportunity to test their fitness by walking, running or cycling. For the more adventurous motorcyclists and 4 x 4 enthusiasts there are also other roads.
