Mzimayi River Lodge is located along the banks of the Mzimayi River. The Lodge offers six Double Rooms and four Family Rooms. The balmy, sub-tropical South Coast climate is wonderful all year round.
All our rooms are equipped with either double or single beds, with tea and coffee-making facilities. Fans and air-conditioners ensure you comfortable accommodation no matter what the weather is doing. Each fully serviced room has a safe for your valuables, and DStv for your entertainment.
The Lodge has a large deck area with swimming pool and a pub where you can enjoy a light meal. And our á la carte restaurant provides you with great food and great sea views.
Mzimayi is only 800 m from Hibberdene’s main beach, which attracts scuba divers from all over South Africa. The pristine reefs are home to many rare species such as the long nose hawkfish, soft coral sponges and fern corals. The Hibberdene Lagoon is great for a picnic in the sun or paddling in the waters.
Mzimayi River Lodge is, without question, the Sunshine Coast’s best kept secret. But book soon, because now the secret is out. Owner/managers Eugene and Rene van Rensburg look forward to welcoming you to their little piece of South Coast paradise.
Conference facilities: Up to 60 pax cinema style or 26 classroom style. White board, projector and air conditioned. Tea/coffee and muffins can be served if required. Full a la carte restaurant available if required.
