Welcome to Cloeteskraal Chalets.
Cloeteskraal Chalets offers guests self-catering cottages, each with it's own warm Jacuzzi on the Berg River, near Velddrif. This would be the ideal couple or family getaway.
The accommodation comprises 4 River Chalets that can sleep 5 guests. All chalets are fully equipped with a kitchen, lounge, and braai facilities (Indoor and Outdoor), DSTV, Aircon and much more.
New to our Cloeteskraal accommodation, is our Glam Caravan Camping! Our permanent caravan under shade with your own ablution with fully equip kitchen and bathroom and air conditioning and DSTV. Outside bath with hot and cold water overlooking the Berg river.
There is a jetty and a slipway.
Experience the quietness of the Berg River and enjoy the breathtaking sunsets and river view. Guests can enjoy sitting on your own private balcony enjoying breakfast, or while sipping on a sundowner.
Important:
1. R400.00 Breakage Deposit per chalet must be paid in cash on arrival, and will be handed back after a quick inspection has been done and after the keys has been handed back with TV and DSTV Remotes. Do not pay Breakage Deposit in bank account.
2. Sorry but we do NOT ALLOW DAILY VISITORS!!.

4. Cloeteskraal Chalets is unable to accommodate bookings for 21 birthday parties, stag/hen parties or school leavers (“Matric Rage”). Any such bookings will be cancelled, with no refund given. The property apologizes for any inconvenience.
5. A) Non Peak Season: The unit must only be vacated at 15H00 on the day of departure. So please, enjoy your day with us, unless your unit is booked out for the same day for the next guest, your departure time is 10h00.
B) Peak Season: The unit must be vacated at 10h00.

The host was very helpful , friendly, place clean , and has all that you need , you just bring your eats and drinks , you are on the bank of the Berg River , fishing (catch and release) quiet with your hot tub on your deck perfect for a get away from everything , pics on the website are just as the place is

What an uncomplicated, everything you can need for a fun and relaxing weekend away! The kids absolutely loved it. We will definitely be back. Would just recommend taking extra bedding in the winter as its cold!!
We had a lovely stay at Cloeteskraal chalet. Everything which we needed was available and the hosts were helpful and friendly. The jacuzzi with the beautiful view was the cherri on top.
We had a lovely weekend. The chalet was well equipped, very clean and neat. I fell in love with the decor, Diane is very artisitic. The chalets are right next to the river - very peaceful.
Also the jacuzzi was lovely to relax in and the aircon came in handy on when it was hot.
Will definitely be back. Next time with a fishing rod and a canoe.
