La Barune Game Lodge is situated in Kamonande Nature Reserve in the Waterberg vicinity, 55 km north of Nylstroom/Modimolle and 7 km from Vaalwater. The Waterberg has been described as South Africa's best kept secret. The conventional safari-style lodge showcases a luxurious hideaway; La Barune Game Lodge offers plush accommodation for family and friends, a haven for those seeking a quality wildlife getaway.
PLEASE NOTE - Minimum 2 nights, Rate based on the entire lodge.
- Balance and breakage deposit: 14 days before arrival.
- Breakage deposit of R6 000, which is payable 14 days before arrival, and will be refunded within 3 days after departure.
- Unfortunately, no parties and no loud music are allowed on the Nature Reserve

Our accommodation at La Braine was outstanding. It was spacious. spotlessly clean and well serviced.
The area is beautiful and peaceful and it was an absolute privilege having the animals on our doorstep and being able to feed them out of our hands.
It was an altogether enjoyable stay and we will definitely be returning.

What we had in Vaalwater was amazing! Things that everyone wanna see but my wish is to visit one of the best Lodges in our area which is "Tshwene lodge".
I definitely recommend it, we had so much fun and enjoyed the swimming, fishing and walks around the lodge. Its clean and beautiful. The staff are friendly and helpful. We cannot wait to go back again.
My goodness! What a heavenly place! We booked Eagles Nest and it was everything as advertised and more. Gréât cycling and game driving. The view is just incredible from our beds. The house felt just like home - cosy, inviting, easy to live in. The night skies were magical. Sunrise and sunsets breath taking. Wonderful friendly staff. Thank you!!
