Enjoy the African bush while the impala’s, waterbucks and warthogs roam through your garden, the giraffes or elephants occasionally come to drink from the waterhole and at night listen to the hyena howl or the Kruger lions roar nearby. Have a sundowner watching the magnificent sunset or the African stars while the children play in the private splashpool…. a magical experience.
Welcome to Bushvilla Umoja Kruger - Wildlife without fences.
This magificent bushvilla with hotel facilities is situated on the 4-star Estate at Silonque Nature Reserve, adjacent to and with a view of the Kruger Park. There are 2 additional swimming pools, a tennis court, a Spa ($), and a conference room for wedding occasions and business activities. The reserve is separated from the Kruger Park by a fence (100m from the house) and has 24/7 (camera) security.
This unique holiday home is located 1 1/2 hrs drive from the Panorama route, in one of the most beautiful parts of South Africa, the Limpopo province on the outskirts of Phalaborwa (town of two summers). The Phalaborwa summers (nov/jan) are warm and humid, the winters (jun/aug) are sunny with mild temperatures and cool nights. The small town has some nice restaurants, a golf course, an airport with daily flights to Johannesburg and of course the Phalaborwa Gate, entrance to the world famous Kruger Park at only 8km away from the house.
The villa is conveniently located for a variety of excursions and daytrips, such as Krugerpark safaris (self drive or guided), the beautiful Panorama route or Magoebaskloof or a visit to one of the Wildlife Rehabilitation Centers in Hoedspruit (with direct flights to Cape Town). In addition, for the more active holidaymaker, we suggest a canootrip, tubing, canopying, 4×4 trails, microlight flights or balloonflights. You will not be bored!
The ideal place to base your stay, but also for a shorter stay, impressing all types of travellers, whether you are visiting for business or holiday. Low risk malaria from June till September.
Enjoy the luxuries of a hotel with daily housekeeping, laundry service ($) and optional full English breakfast ($)at a communal area but with the added privacy and luxury of a home. The professional, courteous and friendly staff is at your disposal to ensure that your stay is as memorable and enjoyable as possible
To really make this a trip of a lifetime we highly recommend that you go on (private) game drive in the Kruger park with Craig from Nandzana, a full day, a morning, afternoon or half day drive is possible. And especially if you are a birder or an experienced gamewatcher, on a private drive (from 4p) you can decide with the ranger what you want to stop for and you will learn a lot about the Kruger wildlife.

We had a wonderful overnight stay and wished it could have been longer.
Everyone was amazing, lovely staff and Chantal was very helpful from the booking of the vacation to making sure we arrived and were comfortable. Thank you for the speedy responses and for all the information you put together for me.
This was one of the best places I had ever stayed in. Everything you need and more. Will most definitely return for a longer stay.
Stayed here for two weeks in January and had an amazing time. The house has everything you want and lots of space. Very large terrace around the whole house with a fantastic view of all the wildlife that frequents the garden and beyond. We saw elephant, impala, lots of warthogs, birds and more. Nice little pool to cool off or watch the wildlife while in the water. Entrance to Kruger Park is only a 20 minutes drive. The owner is very helpful as are the people from the estate the house is located on.
Will certainly stay here again.
We stayed here for 4 nights during December. Beautiful fully furnished 3 bedroom property, it has everything you will need for a more than comfortable stay. We were fortunate enough to have the elephants drinking right next to us, they came to visit us daily, among other wildlife including a several, buck, warthogs and even the leopard!! Having the pool was an added bonus in the very warm Phalaborwa sun!!
This really is a wonderful experience and something we as a family will treasure for a lifetime. You will not be disappointed!
What a lovely and cozy home. Our boys wanted to stay longer, especially because of the pool. Seeing the porcupine up close was definitely the highlight of our stay. We hope to come again.
Vacation of a lifetime. So beautiful, so much to see and wonderful accommodation. Don't want to leave, can't wait to come back. We can't say enough wonderful things about this amazing place.
This is definitely the best house we have ever stayed in!!!
It looks exactly like on the homepage. It's very clean and all three bedrooms have their own bathroom. We have a great view to a water whole where you can watch animals right from the patio.
Everybody is extremely friendly and helpful.
Chantal, the owner, gave us so many great tips, what to do and see here. She wrote so many long emails and answered all my questions right away.
We stayed here with 2 adults and two kids, yet it is definitely big enough for 6 adults!
