Valley of the Rainbow Estate has a variety of accommodation options on offer.
The picturesque Watermill, which was built in the 19th century has been renovated into two separate rooms (The Mill and the Mill room) with incredible views of the dams, mountains and forests.
The Country House is decorated in a classic country style and offers five comfortable double bedrooms, each with en-suite bathrooms, access to the veranda and magnificent views over the valley and mountains. The Country House is self-catering and accommodates a maximum of 10 people.
The Tented Chalets are for our more adventurous guests. Experience all nature has to offer, in comfortable tented accommodation. Each Tented Chalet is fitted with an en-suite bathroom, kitchenette and seating deck with stunning views of the hills, dams and valley.
Encounter the countryside from our Nature Log Cabins. These cabins are hidden within an indigenous forest and allow guests a secluded space to enjoy the tranquillity of nature. These one-bedroom cabins accommodate two people with a king-size bed, en-suite bathroom fitted with a lovely tub and shower and a separate toilet. The closed combustion wood fireplace in the lounge area of the cabin creates an intimate atmosphere perfect for couples.
Come and relax in nature and embrace the unspoiled natural beauty on offer. Take a stargazing night walk, hike to the mountain rock pools and discover the patient art of fly-fishing in our waterways.

The setting was beautiful. We were treated with great hospitality and delicious food. All-in-all it was a lovely experience.
Absolutely amazing. The hosts and staff was amazing
Amazing, tranquil and beautiful. Our stay was only for two nights but it was the peace and tranquility that we really needed. Our hosts and their staff were very kind and willing to assist in anyway, if needed.
This place is a hidden gem and a great place to relax and unwind.
Upon arrival I received a warm welcome by Jamie and his team,
check-in was smooth and i was escorted to my log cabin and shown around.
The log cabin is luxury and beautiful views of the mountain and little river\below.
I did not fish but the dams looks lovely .
This is a great place if you don't like a crowded resort and value peace and quiet with a beautiful tranquil setting.
Next time i would like to book the Mill room , its looks amazing with the dam a few meters away.
We had a wonderful stay at Valley Of The Rainbow. It's a tranquil and naturally beautiful place. I would highly recommend this venue.
Most Idyllic setting and friendly, most helpful staff.
Will most definitely be back!
Very relaxing experience. The food was excellent. Our host, SP, was very friendly. Highly recommended.
I really enjoyed the stay. The place was very well kept and clean, and I felt that it was extremely secluded and tranquil. Only would have loved to catch a fish! There wasn't anyone that caught during the weekend which was a bit off putting! Otherwise, really enjoyed it!
Tranquil and peaceful. Management friendly and helpful. Food was good.

Snow, Cosy atmosphere, nature and fresh air
Beautiful town with the loveliest shops. It's a Highlands destination in South Africa.
It's a little gem, where most is homemade and authentic. People are very humble, artistic and kind.

The good food and restaurants. Beautiful clean town. So relaxing.
Dullsroom is a great little experience.. cute shops, nice restaurants and lovely accommodation. However..... no mention of Fox Hills when inquiring. And some reservation companies like Dullstroom reservations and Accommodation at Dullstroom were closed on a Sat at 3pm???
All the people we met were very friendly.
