My stay at Rivertides was amazing!! The welcome by the host was excellent. Everything in the units were clean and in excellent condition. Will definitely stay there again!!
What an amazing, beautiful place to stay...! Stunning views!
We had the best experience at Rivertide. Mike is the best host that we have met in a very long time. When we arrived, he gave us all the info that we would need about the area... restaurants, etc. He also gave us a pot plant as a gift for our anniversary.
We had a flat tire on Saturday Morning and he took my husband to the shop to get everything he needed.
He has canoes with life jackets that you can use for free.

We had a wonderful stay. We slept only one night and did not make use of the kitchen facilities, but it looks well equipped. the accommodation was excellent. The host was even better! The views awesome. We would surely go again.

The unit was extremely clean, nicely decorated with everything you need and more. View is incredible. If you need to get away from the rush and relax...this is the place!! I needed a break on my own to " come up fir air". I could not have picked a better place! Thank you Mike this has meant more to me than I can put in words. See you again very soon!!

Signage was excellent, very easy to find. On our arrival Mike was expecting us, helped cart our luggage to our accommodation, explaied every thing to us and made us feel at home. Our unit had the most amazing view and close to the sounds of the river and all its activity, it was very clean and comfortable as well, everything was available for our short stay, and the wifi was good enough for calling and sending messages to family. Everything, from our towels to the bedding had a wonderful smell about it. Our bed, after a long day was sooo comfortable, we slept well. Barbecue facilities were on point and very clean, so was the garden furniture and lazy loungers. We had such a wonderful experience the first day that we opted to stay an extra day, in all we slept there for 3 nights. We would gladly stay there again when we visit Velddrif in the future, we will definitely recommend Rivertides to everyone.
We enjoyed our stay at Rivertides tremendously. The host Mike was very warm and friendly guy. The room was neat and tidy, everything we needed. I can highly recommend a breakaway at Rivertides. We will definitely visit them again.
Mike is an amazing host, he made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. His knowledge of the area is impeccable and he gladly shared it with us. If you are looking for a place to get away from the city's hustle and bustle, this is definitely the place to visit. We enjoyed the river facing room, the awesome sunsets and fantastic bird life were amazing. The unit was well equipped and exceptionally clean, it made our stay extremely comfortable. Would definitely recommend Rivertides Guest House.

It was so peaceful. Loved the fact that they are close to everything, yet you felt like you are on an island.

Lovely little town to just relax and enjoy the scenery. Not much to do besides, fishing, walking along the beach and enjoy the quiet surrounds.
