Andanté Game Farm is situated in the beautiful Waterberg Bushveld. Originally the entire area around Andanté Game Farm was one large farm known as Rietvalley. Although the size of Rietvalley is undetermined, many believe it to have been around 4 000 hectares. Between 1996 and 1998 Rietvalley was divided into several smaller farms of about 200 hectares each, of which Andanté Game Farm is one.

History of the Waterberg Region:
The Waterberg region of Limpopo is vast, peaceful and incredibly beautiful. It is a fascinating area with a rich cultural legacy and natural splendour. It is particularly appealing to those who need to find a place to unwind. The region encompasses vast tracts of bushveld savannah punctuated with clusters of trees and tall savannah shrubs, the extensive and mountainous Waterberg area and the Springbok Flats in the south. There is plenty of wildlife to be seen on the numerous private game reserves in the region.
The most important towns of the Waterberg region are Bela-Bela (Warmbaths), Nylstroom (Modimolle), Naboomspruit (Mookgophong), Vaalwater, Thabazimbi and Ellisras (Lephalale). Each town in itself is worth visiting, boasting a number of historical, cultural and natural attractions.

We had a very wonderful stay in the Cabin. Its a beautiful getaway from the busyness of the city to reconnect with nature, and refresh oneself. We had booked for my wife's birthday celebration and the hosts at the farm were very accommodating and every person who had joined in was quite impressed.

Lovely quiet and peaceful hideaway. The heated splash pool just outside the cottage was a treat although we didn’t light the fire to heat it. We used it to cool down! The area of the game farm is small which didn’t worry us as we enjoyed the birds. Recommended for visitors who are looking for tranquility and not for the ‘big 5’. One problem was not being able to obtain the code to enter the property as there was no coverage at the gate. Best to obtain this before your trip.
