Lemon Tree Cottage is situated in a peaceful part of Heidelberg, a small country village on the Garden Route of South Africa.
The cottage offers comfortable accommodation in what were once stables built in 1856.
The cottage can accommodate up to 2 guests, and comprises of 1 bedroom with a queen-size bed, a bathroom with a shower and a roll top bath, and a living area with a TV with selected DStv channels, a bar fridge, a microwave, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The cottage features a private courtyard with braai facilities and an outdoor shower. Secure covered parking is available next to the cottage.
There are 2 mountain bikes and a tandem bike which guests are welcome to make use of. Guests can visit attractions in the surrounding area such as, Grootvadersbosch Nature Reserve, Witsand Beach, and Bontebok National Park.

Value for money and an amazing host in Derek Jones. We felt welcome on arrival and our Daisy dog loved her stay too. The many 'home comforts' were much appreciated. Unit was very homely and clean. Full DSTv was an added bonus. Heidelberg proved to be a quaint, friendly and very historic little town. Wonderful breakaway all in all!
I had a delightful stay at the Lemon tree Cottage. Sitting in the sublime garden was relaxing and peaceful. Derek is a wonderful and thoughtful host. The cottage was very comfortable. It was an unexpected gem.
