With only 3 luxury walk-in tents, Omatozu offers an exclusive and tranquil environment that allows you to experience the thrills of outdoor living in a comfortable and luxurious way. It is small and personal with the emphasis on cleanliness, which offers our guests the ideal opportunity to experience true Namibian hospitality. The 3 luxury walk-in tents are nestled between indigenous thorn trees with pathways leading across a lawn towards the main camp facilities.
About 200 metres away from the main camp are 4 campsites which are sheltered between indigenous vegetation at the perimeter of a small farm dam. Every camp site has its own ablution facilities and braai area.

Omatozu is near the historical town of Okahandja. This little town has all the necessities any traveller would require, such as well stocked supermarkets, filling stations, coffee shops, medical centre and ATM's of all the major banks in Namibia. Surprises are plentiful such as the famous Mbangura woodcarvers market, Von Bach dam with fishing and waterskiing, hot springs at Gross Barmen and home to the finest biltong shops in Namibia.
Okahandja is the traditional seat of the Herero nation from whose language it derives its name, describing "the place where the rivers meet". Once being the home of the famous Chief Maharero, he was laid to rest here on the 26th August 1923. Each year on this day thousands of Herero people gather in colourful traditional dresses and military outfits to celebrate, including a march through the town on horseback. Visitors are welcome and this occasion should not be missed.

There is a stylish chill-out area with plenty of ambience consisting of a thatched roof lapa overlooking a dam. This includes bar, lounge, dining facilities and an open fire place - the perfect hide-away during cold winter nights. The adjacent braai area offers the ideal opportunity to sit around a camp fire.
A secluded swimming pool for the use of all guests is situated between the main camp and the camp sites.

Omatozu Game Farm is home to numerous species of game such as Giraffe, Eland, Waterbuck, Zebra, Hartebeest, Impala, Gemsbok and Kudu to name a few. Although rarely seen, nocturnal animals such as Porcupine, Ant-bears and Brown Hyena as well as numerous cat species including Cheetahs and Leopards also form part of the eco-system at Omatozu. Farm drives and walking trails are a great opportunity for game viewing, while exploring the diverse landscapes ranging from rocky boulders amongst dry riverbeds to Savannah bush-land. Guests with a passion for ornithology can simply relax in the camp while marvelling at the abundance of bird life.
