Welcome to A Riverbed Guesthouse.
At the foot of the Langeberg mountains, in the breathtaking town of Swellendam, you will find A Riverbed guesthouse right on the Koornlands river. Come and rejuvenate yourself at our peaceful ‘bed on the river’ and relax on the deck next to the endless pool. Our four suites are luxurious and fully equipped, each with beautiful mountain views and riverside tranquillity. We are conveniently situated within walking distance of restaurants, shops and the Marloth Nature Reserve mountain trails. We regret no children under 16 years of age.

We will definitely recommend A Riverbed Guesthouse to anyone who is planning to visit Swellendam! We had a wonderful weekend at the Guesthouse and will definitely go back there in the near future. The rooms are beautiful and the whole setting of the guesthouse is amazing! We had a beautiful view of the mountains and the river right in front of us. We loved the outside braai and really enjoyed everything of our stay at a Riverbed! Melani & Rudi, our hosts, made us feel so welcome and went out of their way to ensure that we have a wonderful, relaxed weekend. We will definitely recommend other people to stay more than one night and to explore Swellendam, make a destination out of it.
