The guest house comprises 5 bedrooms. Room 1 sleeps 2 adults on a Superior King size bed. Additional bedding can be provided, as well as 2 children under 12 years on a sleeper couch. Room 2 sleeps 2 adults and 2 children on single mattress. This room is equipped with a sleeper couch as well to provide more sleeping space for kids. The rooms either have a full en-suite bathroom or an en-suite bathroom with a shower.
Room 3, and 4 accommodate 2 adults each and both rooms have a double bed. There is also a TV and en-suite bathroom with a shower/bath, basin and toilet. A communal lounge area where guests can relax and there is a fully equipped kitchen available for guests' use at an additional cost. There are also braai facilities. The balcony offers breathtaking views over the bay and town lights.
Room 5 is a 1 bedroom unit that has a private entrance and is ideal for those on a tour. It is perfect for the single traveler or backpacker. The room has a kitchen, fridge, frying pan, toaster, cutlery, hairdryer and TV. The beds can be converted into 2 three-quarters bed on request. The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. Guests have a beautiful view of the bay with boats from the comfort of their bed.
In Room Facilities:All rooms have bar fridges, a safe, hairdryer and coffee station with a mini kettle. There is 1 fully equipped communal kitchen which is also available for self-catering guests. Please note that excessive food preparation cannot be done. A once-off service fee is required to use the self-catering kitchen.
Area Information:Albatross Nest is situated in the coastal town of Saldanha on the West Coast of the Western Cape and offers quality accommodation for business travellers and holidaymakers. It is within easy reach of the beach, shops and restaurants and guests are near numerous activities and attractions.

Quiet and peaceful
I enjoyed the relaxed pace of Saldanha. I enjoyed spending time at the lodge studying and relaxing when we could. The catering was really good and the service of the staff Bradely Francke and Sandra Swart was outstanding. I would definitely stay there again when given the chance.

Nothing - except for Blue Bay lodge restaurant which was refreshingly nice.
The view. the small town and nice people. The beaches are clean . The policemen on duty. On the beach, on the street, they are always visible.
The beach is our favorite as my granddaughter, age 2, just love the sea and sand.
