Aandster is a guest farm, situated just outside Parys, bordering the Vaal River, Free State Province. It is approximately 2 hours’ drive from Johannesburg and Pretoria. It is an ideal getaway for the entire family, to enjoy the tranquil atmosphere and becoming one with nature.
Aandster offers farm-style accommodation, consisting of a rustic, thatch roof farmhouse with 2 detached rooms with a lapa overlooking the grasslands, and a bungalow. The main house comprises of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and can accommodate up to 7 guests. The main bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a bath, shower and a toilet. The second bedroom has a double bed and the third bedroom, which is in the loft, has 3 single beds. The second bathroom is on the ground floor and it is fitted with a shower and a toilet.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove and oven, fridge, microwave oven, kettle, crockery, utensils and a fire extinguisher. The lounge area has comfortable seating and guests can bring their own decoder along.
The bungalow, which can accommodate 4 guests, is close to the main house and it features 2 bedrooms with a double bed and twin single beds and 1 bathroom fitted with a shower and a toilet. All bedding and towels are provided. Guests have access to the braai facilities and for entertainment there is a pool table.
Nearby attractions include: Various art, antique and coffee shops to visit and to name a few activities, hiking trails, river rafting, abseiling and fly fishing,
