A signature feature of Avalon Springs is our access to natural hot springs. All seven pools at the resort are filled with water that flows naturally from a cavern five metres underground, so guests can enjoy 100% clear and clean water with near perfect Ph.

A lovely stay, staff very friendly, helpful, Breakfast is fabulous. The gardens and pools have been redone, its is stunning ! Just a pity about noisy kids, and it was in school term !
We visited while they were busy with the renovations and the main swimming pool area wasn't open yet...the renovations look great and once finished i am sure it will add to the experience.We stayed in the hotel and the rooms look old/tired...even the carpets in the passages need to be replaced.Overall always a nice place to visit.

Everything was beyond perfect the food was something you must experience yourself it's "fantasmagories" like I would say.
Staff all of them from cleaner to management make you feel the place belong to you and they your employees.
We had an awesome time @ Avalon Springs. The hotel, even though it's oldish, is well maintained & clean. The staff is friendly and eager to assist. Breakfast, lunch & supper was superb. Heated pools are a new experience for us & was fantastic. Would recommend it to anyone.

This is a lovely place. Comfortable and those pools!!!! Heaven!!! Friendly staff who were very helpful even got a vegan breakfast. Also as a bonus friendly dassies were sunbathing everywhere very cute indeed
The stay was lovely. It wasn't too full thus me and my family had some of the facilities to our own on a number of occasions. The unit was also beautiful. Better than expected.

Came up to Montagu for a climbing course with Blue Mountain Adventures and stayed at the Tolhuis with two friends. It was just perfect. Firstly the location, it was only mere meters away from our first day's location for climbing , LEGOLAND. We could literally stop and walk up to our accommodation for a coffee and lunch break! The place itself was just perfect for the 3 of us. Great little braai area where we enjoyed our evenings and the place is simple and humble yet stylish! The hosts, Michelle, Ivan, and Jason their 6-month-old puppy were just very warm and accommodating. Thank you!
