IMPORTANT RULES:
Please be advised that the estate has zero tolerance to violation of the rules including disrespect to any staff member.
This will result in a punitive fine of R 4 000 taken from the breakage deposit fee.
We are in a nature reserve we wish to keep the peace and quiet of the bushveld for all to enjoy.......NO EXCESSIVE NOISE will be tolerated....
All the animals roam freely within the estate - keep windows and doors closed and please refrain from feeding or leaving left overs out.
Please do not LITTER..and.....please use WATER sparingly...
Do not leave FIRES un-attended. Use the steal lid to cover the fire after use. Candles - please ensure all out before leaving the room.
NO SPEEDING>>30KM - animals roam freely within the estate.

We are a family lodge providing an ideal setting for that special getaway. Our live in staff at house 167 and 168 are on duty to make your stay pleasant.

DESCRIPTION:
As you enter through the front door of the main house a large central fire place dominates the homeliness of this lodge. Furnished with a leather lounge suite that has ample seating for the larger groups exudes comfort and style.
Glass sliding doors either side... showcase the distant horizon and the plunge pool encased with a rockery filled with cycads. Relax under the shade of mature thorn trees filled with birds nesting or sit with friends on our extensive covered verandah with overhead fans that provide welcome relief to the heat of the day.
The upstairs TV lounge extends out to a peaceful sundowner deck. Memorable pictures of the sun going down are not to be missed. A patio for Siesta escape the madness.
Our kitchen with its central work station, complete with a walk in fridge ..is ideal for easy prep of meals. It spills out to a breakfast area overlooking the pool and garden.
Open plan in design, its spaciousness of inside outside areas connected with wrap around patio to the boma is practical for the larger groups to enjoy one anothers company. The boma is of course the place to be when braaing in the bush under a starlit sky.
There are 6xfamily chalets each with two bedrooms and a shared bathroom with outside shower.
Each chalets has its own entrance and its own patio for that extra bit of quiet time from the chatter at the main house. Enjoy your own space on your own patio if you so wish . Each chalet is equipped with a bar fridge and kettle.
Golferslodge167 Zebula is the ideal getaway place to be in the bushveld with family and friends.
Ride your bike or play golf, or walk.. amongst free roaming wild life animals, this will make your stay even more special.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Lodge 167...we were 20 people and the 6 chalets and main lodge worked very well for us.
The help of Beauty; the cleaner, who cleaned daily and did our dishes twice a day, was a wonderful bonus.
We could do nice walks using the tracks for the golf carts;
The main lodge is very will equipped; and with high quality plates, cups and dishes.
The main lodge had a lot of sun filled areas where we could sit and read or relax, and nice TV area to watch the rugby test.
A beautiful lodge nestled away in the bushveld. A great get away for a large family reunion, with 6 chalets well spaced apart from each other and the main house, allowing each chalet its own privacy. We made the most use of the boma area which has a lovely evening ambience around the fire, however there are several other areas that are also great for entertainment. The host is a wonderful person, very responsive on emails, etc. I would definitely recommend this lodge for large get togethers. We look forward to going back

This is a beautiful lodge for a lovely family holiday. The facilities are stunning except for one of the rooms which seems to not have been renovated and is not as lovely as the other rooms are. Was a bit disappointing as one of our family members had to stay in a room that was not 5 star like the rest of us.

Loved our stay in an impeccably maintained resort!
A big reason for fewer than 5 stars is the horrific, pothole filled R101, which one has to travel.
The service at the restaurant was slow and food not great. I would recommend splitting the venue, and cater for school groups separately, so that (properly trained) chefs can focus on food preparation for restaurant guests. Waitrons can also benefit from more training. The whole experience wasn't terrible, but far from excellent.
