Cottage Pie offers self-catering accommodation in a charming thatched home situated just 17 km from the Golden Gate National Park. The cottage is nestled at the foot of a sandstone mountain and a trickling stream, surrounded by a typical English Country Garden that is home to indigenous trees and old-fashioned roses, where abundant bird life and the occasional buck can be spotted.
In Room Facilities:Cottage Pie is a charming thatched-roof home, offering 4 private en-suite units.
All units have separate entrances and can be booked individually.
Facilities include a TV with selected DStv channels, free Wi-Fi, (Cabin has no TV or WiFi) The beds all have down duvets and electric blankets. The bedrooms are also equipped with electric heaters for the winter.

My Ouma and I stayed at Cottage Pie's Cabin this past weekend and it was an absolute dream. We felt as though we were living a fairy tale the entire weekend in our serene, peaceful, clean,warm cabin. We loved that it felt as if we were living amongst nature and waking up both mornings to the beautiful view of the mountain. Karen was extremely accommodating and our place was warm when we arrived as she made sure to have the heater on when we got there. We felt right at home from the start. We will most definitely be back very soon. Thank you for a wonderful weekend.

Village atmosphere & the beautiful mountains
Small, quaint, but very lively little town with spectacular views all around. Hiking is a must and can be done on the edge of town. We stayed at Views and the hiking trail was on our back door. Beautiful, beautiful little town offering great food, culture, entertainment and beautiful hiking trails.
