Palm & Pebbles Self-Catering Cottages are conveniently located in the heart of Paternoster, a mere 150m stroll from the beach and within walking distance of popular restaurants and local amenities.
Our two exceptionally well-appointed cottages offer a home away from home atmosphere with complete privacy and security.
Paternoster is a small, quaint and picturesque fishing village, less than 2 hours from Cape Town. Paternoster is famous for its white-washed fishermen's cottages, endless stretches of sandy white beaches, spectacular sunsets, succulent seafood and of course the West Coast charm of the local fishermen.

In Room Facilities:

Both cottages are self-contained with linen, towels, basic toiletries, hairdryer in main bed room along with safe for valuables. DStv Premium and Wi-Fi included. A well-equipped kitchen with all mod-cons. House-cleaning service available on request at an additional cost.

Not available are items such as beach towels.

Area Information:

Paternoster is about 150 km north of Cape Town on the R27 and 15 km north-west of Vredenburg. It is a favourite weekend getaway destination for Capetonians. The West Coast is known for its great variety of fauna and flora species; rich in fynbos. The West Coast a very special place to wildflower lovers the world over.

Property Facilities:

The home is situated on a private family owned road, fully walled and secure. Each cottage has a private patio for relaxing and socializing around a braai. Order one of our delicious and locally sourced breakfast or braai baskets available on request.

Attractions:

Things to do in Paternoster:
Enjoy long walks on our lovely pristine beach collecting shells and meeting locals, bring your bicycles for rides, or arrange to go horse-riding on the beach, followed by swimming and picnicing at Tieties Bay (featured on TV on numerous occassions). If this sounds to active for your liking, come and enjoy the Jazz Feastival held once a year; not forgetting the beauty of our spring flora with drives into the local nature reserve. Take day trips to St Helena, Stompneus Bay, Velddrift, Saldanha and Langebaan (Mykonos). Or simply stay local and enjoy some of our great restaurants, some with fine cuisine and others with good wholesome food, all with their own unique ambiance.

I love the fact that it is still a small fisher's village and absolutely beautiful there. I will definitely go back to Paternoster again. Loved every minute of it.
